Born in San Fernando (Cádiz). He learned from the hand of Rafael Romero, was trained in the “toque de Morón” and did great courses with Manolo Sanlucar.

Since childhood he has accompanied different flamenco artists such as Chato from the island, Juan Villar, José Mercé, Aguilar de Vejer, Rancapino, Pansequito…

He worked in many dance academies to reach renowned artists such as Javier Baron, Sara Baras and Manuela Carrasco. He is also author of the music of different shows in dance companies such as Cristina Hoyos and performs Masters Class accompaniment to singing and dancing internationally.

He was musical director of El Barrio for more than a decade and has participated in great shows such as Manolo Carrasco (Pianist). With all these artists and many more has traveled much of the world.

Now is the time for a new JUANI DE LA ISLA, which premieres a disc full of sensations; of strength, freedom, goblin, art … in short, love of music and life.
